MOUNT VERNON INN, Sumter – Your ideal downtown stay

My recent stay at this motel was quite memorable. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from downtown Sumter and the historical district. The rooms were incredibly clean and had all the necessary amenities you'd expect from a pricier chain. However, I did hear some unsettling stories from fellow travelers about other places in town, which made me thankful for my choice. Overall, it's a solid option when visiting the area, especially given the value for money.
